What's it all about?The website provides for recording Mike's experience and expertise for potential employers.So what's here then?Current general C.V. - hence its length - for particular jobs or particular roles there are role-specific C.V.s which are shorter and much more tightly focused - email mailto:mike@leyenda.demon.co.uk to get hold of something specific.What's new ?Latest skills under development are JSP using the RESIN Server-Side Java engine and mySQL to hook into a back-end database to generate star maps on the fly. What's current ?Current employment consists of Senior Application Architect at Tumbleweed Communications . What this really means is Professional Services Engineer for customer application-specific integrations using C++, Java, Corba and JSP around the Secure Messenger and Secure Mail platforms. What's old?All cvs can be regarded as old until updated with the latest skills, normally on demand or for particular jobs. My past history moves from my UCL Astronomy degree and PhD in Infra-Red astronomy instrumentation( incomplete ) to Space Science and satellite instrumentation. From there to machine vision and embedded control systems based around image recognition and lighting control and then onto to middle-tier system integration. Finally I arrive here at project management, integration and design for a company building enterprise-level products.
